AfroColombians
There's a high percentage of the population in our country who are afro-descendents. However, in ancient times, people with darker skin were taken as slaves, which has made it difficult for them to be able to be considered an equal to people with lighter skin. Even though nowadays it's not like that, at least in most cases, they have problems because of racism and, of course, racists. In Colombia it's not seen in large-scale, but it is still something you would probably see in some places.
In conclusion, we all should do something about it: they're human beings, not monsters. So next time you see an afro-descendent you should just treat him/her the sameway you would like to be treatedd.

Introducing me!
Hi! ... I'm Rachel Fontalvo Orozco, soon to become a graphic designer. Born and have always lived in Barranquilla for 20 years now. Like to keep moving. Can´t stay still. That's one of the reasons each semester I've taken at least one of the classes of Bienestar Universitario: Sports, dancing or singing. If you're thinking about how cool I am... Well... Let me tell you I'm not. I take classes, I do not teach. I'm not the best at sports, dancing nor singing. Believe me. I'M NOT. But it is okay I guess. People shoul always do things they wanna do, not things society spects you to do because you're good at it.
